DHA staff strives to keep the lines of communication open and encourages landlords to express concerns or share suggestions with the DHA landlord services division. <br /> <br />DHA values the relationships it has with landlords. DHA staff strives to keep the lines of communication open and encourages landlords to express concerns or share suggestions with the DHA landlord services division. <br />The Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly Section 8) provides assistance, in the form of a voucher, to low-income families, the elderly and persons with disabilities for rental units chosen by the tenant in the private market. DHA provides payments directly to participating property owners to offset the cost difference between tenant payments and unit rent.
